Renewable plants or non-renewable crude oil?

We have used crude oil to make plastics for many years. The trouble is, crude oil is a non-renewable resource. It will eventually run out.

Scientists have found ways of getting ingredients from plants that can be used to make plastics. Plants are a renewable resource. We can keep growing them year after year after year. They won't run out.
